Apple iPad 2 User Reviews

So, have you recently purchased the ? Was it what you expected? Was it worth the wait? Here are a few we have got together…

I really like it.. the camera is so cool to have on the ipad.. It’s much faster with some of the games as compared to my iphone or my original ipad.. The size is really great.. I wish they had a better case similar to the original one that Apple sold.. I like the smart cover, but it doesn’t protect the outside case so I went with a little larger case for it… The facetime is cool to use with the ipad… Overall, I really like it.. there are downsides of still not having Flash or SD Slot or USB, but overall, it’s great…

Apple put no effort into this new iPad, I Can’t believe they would make excuse why they use such cheap components compared to their competitors! This should be cheaper than the original iPad, then it would be a deal. I could pick up a Galaxy Tab 10.1 with much better features for less~ No matter what you say Android OS will over take the tablet market, just as it did the Mobile phone market… It is inevitable.

Well, I have an iTouch 4G, and the iPad 2 has the same cameras on it. So I know that the quality SUCKS! Now, I’m thinking that if Apple will put out the next version, say iPad 3, with hires cameras, SD cards, USB, hires screen, how much is it going to cost? I wonder what is the limit ppl would willing to pay for it?

I was thinking about getting an iPad 2, but frankly, it’s just really a bigger version if the iTouch 4G, so I don’t I will throw out my money for it. Maybe an iPad 3. But by then, maybe other devices (namely Xoom) will mature so much that it would be worth better to get a Xoom.

Not to mention, have you been reading the iPad 2 support/community section on apple’s website? People have already all sorts of issues with the iPad 2.

Great battery life; super thin design; very bright and clear display; dual-core processor for graphically intensive games and apps; color choice; name your price with a selection of different models.

Some are experiencing light leaking issues; poor rear and front cameras; same capacities as the old version (16GB, 32GB, and 64GB); iOS is needing some updates to freshen it up a bit.

Considering lag was never an issue on the original iPad, the new version is sure to keep up the pace with double the memory and a dual-core processor. Even though the cameras are less-than-spectacular, it’s nice to have at least the front one around for the occasional FaceTime call. All in all, the iPad 2 is a great tablet and a great successor to the first generation.

Looking at the iPad operating system, it is identical to the interface used in iPhone and iPod touch design. Many critics will ague, “why use the same user interface?” It is simple; the device has been built on the same platform, a cradle of the operating system X utilized for mobile electronics. In terms of navigating through the various options, it bears similarities to the iPhone. It comprises of multiple pages that make use of grids and icons as well as an ever present status bar that functions in displaying the current time and other details. The only flipside to this is that the designers failed to take a chance of fully implementing a “desktop” on the iPad.
